Woman dies after car crashes in heavily wooded area in Kansas City, Kansas, police say
A woman was killed early Saturday in a single-vehicle crash in Kansas City, Kansas, according to police.
The woman was driving south about 7:30 a.m. on South 78th Street when her vehicle left the road and landed in a heavily wooded area in the 100 block of the street.
The driver died at the scene, police said. She has not yet been identified.
Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating the crash.
