We’re on the hunt for the best french fries in Kansas City, and it’s getting dicey. Our search for the area’s best started with more than 500 submissions, representing nearly 60 different local businesses.
After votes from 343 participants, we’ve narrowed it down to the Salty Sixteen. Now, you’ll vote for your four favorites to get us into the Fresh Four.
Of the final 16 french fries that received the most votes from the first poll, nine have restaurants within the city limits of Kansas City. Barbecue joints also dominate the poll, taking 11 of 16 spots.
The voting on this round will go from Tuesday, March 31, through Friday, April 3. Final voting will begin Tuesday, Aug. 5.
