You told us about 58 spots for french fries near KC. Vote for the best
We asked for the best french fries in Kansas City and you answered. We received over 110 responses on the form and nearly 400 on our Facebook post.
Many of you even gave us suggestions on how to order them to achieve the perfect fry, which we’ll certainly be trying the next time we visit your favorite spot. But for now, we have important business to attend to.
In total, the poll includes 58 local businesses serving the cut and deep-fried potatoes. Sorry to all of you who submitted Chick-fil-A, Culver’s, Freddy’s, Five Guys and McDonald’s. Those are all great french fries, however.
To find the very best of KC fry-makers, we’ll all have to vote to decide.
They represent many KC-area suburbs and the different types of restaurants the region has to offer. You’ll find barbecue staples and burger joints alongside neighborhood bars.
A few spots will require a bit of a drive. But if these Star readers are to be believed, it’s well worth the trip.
