KC’s Morton Amphitheater opens this week. Here’s how concert parking works

The Morton Amphitheater in Riverside opens Wednesday, June 3, and will welcome up to 16,000 fans. That begs the question: What’s the parking situation for Kansas City’s latest music venue?

There are seven lots surrounding the venue, which hold 6,000 cars, according to the venue. This includes VIP spots, reserved parking, premier parking and general admission. Here’s what to know about parking, as well as alternative options for getting to the venue.

Where and how much is general parking?

There are four large general parking lots south of the venue’s main entrance. Prior to the day of the concert, parking will run you $20. On the day of the event, it will go up to $25.

There are also options for premier, VIP and reserved parking that are separate from general admission. Premier parking is closer to the main entrance. VIP parking is north of the main entrance, while reserved parking is south of it.

According to Ticketmaster, premier parking for the Kesha show on June 3 will run you $50, while reserved parking will cost $60.

Where do I go for rideshare pickup?

The rideshare pickup and dropoff spot is north of the main entrance, off of 39th Street.

Can I bike to the Morton Amphitheater?
