These country superstars will perform at Kansas City area music festival
The stampede is back in the Kansas City area, and few familiar faces will return.
Country Stampede, the annual three-day country music festival, takes place June 26-28 at Azura Amphitheater in Bonner Springs.
The festival, which one ticket-selling site ranked the best festival to attend on a budget, is in Bonner Springs for the second year. It previously moved from Topeka due to rising property taxes, the festival owners said in a Facebook post in August 2023. The festival’s origins trace back to Manhattan, Kansas, in 1996.
Kansas City-based live event marketing and concert production company Kustom Entertainment Inc. also bought the festival in 2024.
Past performers at Country Stampede have included Jason Aldean, Luke Combs. Kenny Chesney, Morgan Wallen, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, Chris Stapleton and Taylor Swift.
Two previous performers are making their way back to the 29th Stampede in 2025, along with local acts and options to camp for the weekend.

Who’s performing at Country Stampede in 2025?
Two country superstars and former Country Stampede performers return to the festival in 2025.
Luke Bryan, a five-time Entertainer of the Year winner with the Academy of Country Music Awards, will perform Thursday, June 26. His latest album, “Mind Of A Country Boy,” was released in 2024, and he’s also a judge on singing competition series “American Idol.”
Also making her way back is Miranda Lambert, who has the most Academy of Country Music Awards than any artist in history with 35, three Grammy awards and was named by the Chicago Tribune as the “greatest country music artist of all time.” She performs Friday, June 27.
The final headliner is Cole Swindell, who won Best New Artist from the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2015. His last album, “Stereotype Broken,” released in 2022 and his newest album, “Spanish Moss,” releases the day before his performance on Saturday, June 28.

How much do tickets for Country Stampede cost?
Ticket prices vary depending on if you’re camping or sitting in the lawn area, but each ticket gives you access to all three days of Country Stampede.
General admission tickets for Country Stampede cost $169 before fees, These tickets are restricted the lawn area inside Azura Amphitheater.
A “super fan” ticket costs $216 and includes access to the party pit, which is standing room only in front of the stage. ADA seating costs $149 and is a reserved section above the standing room section.
The platinum club is a private seating area that’s an add-on to the festival. The club includes a private bar food vendors and restrooms. There is a small stage in this area that will play local live entertainment, and you can’t see the main stage from this area.
The festival’s website doesn’t list single-day tickets, but resale site Vivid Seats sells them for these prices before fees:
Vivid Seats says Country Stampede is the best festival to attend on a budget, as the average sold ticket price on their website is $83, compared to hundreds for events like Coachella, CMA Fest and Under the Big Sky.
Camping tickets range from $319 to $1249, and each section has different amenities. Tickets to the festival are not included with the purchase of camping tickets.
Gates open at 3:30 p.m. June 26 and at 1:30 p.m. June 27-28.
