Mizzou’s Maty Mauk caught favoriting tweets that were critical of Drew Lock
When will people learn?
Anything shared on social media likely won’t just disappear. Just ask Texas Gov. Greg Abbott. Or the Texas Rangers.
Missouri quarterback Maty Mauk, who has been suspended indefinitely by coach Gary Pinkel for an undisclosed discretion, is the latest to make the mistake.
Mauk’s replacement is Drew Lock, a true freshman from Lee’s Summit. During the Tigers’ 21-3 loss to Florida last Saturday, some fans tweeted uncomplimentary things about Lock. And Mauk favorited some of those. They were caught by Jack Witthaus, a reporter for the Columbia Missourian:

— Jack Witthaus (@JackWitthaus) October 11, 2015The favorites have been deleted, but they’ll never be gone. That could not have helped Mauk’s chances at coming back from suspension.
