Boy with Down syndrome has become viral star for his dance moves after a home run
This is not a debate about whether it's acceptable to celebrate hitting a home run in Major League Baseball.
Because no one can say this home-run celebration is anything other than fantastic.
A boy named Billy, who has Down syndrome, has become a viral star not because of home run he hit, but because of his dance moves while and after rounding the bases.
According to CBS, Billy plays on Long Island, N.Y., in the League of YES, which is for people of all ages with special needs.
"We hope that it shows that you can be friends with a child with special needs and to understand that they are just kids, too," Kristine Fitzpatrick told CBS. "We want to break that barrier of acceptance."
Billy's home-run celebration can be seen above.
