The most recent revelations in college basketball's ongoing FBI investigation has not impacted the Kansas athletic department's ongoing plans to complete a new 12-year, $191 million contract with Adidas.

KU associate athletic director Jim Marchiony said Wednesday that while the deal — first announced on Sept. 22, 2017 — was not signed by both parties, KU was "actively in the process of completing the contract."

"We're working on a long-form contract right now, but it's not done yet," Marchiony said.

Marchiony said the contract being finalized was the same one originally spoken about in September. When asked if he foresaw any potential hangups with the completion of the deal, Marchiony said he didn't believe so.

Until the new contract is agreed to, KU remains under its old Adidas pact. That one was originally signed in 2005, extended in 2013 and runs through 2019.
