Two KC men charged in Leawood bank robbery

Two Kansas City men have been charged with the Wednesday afternoon robbery of a Leawood bank.

Terry Lovelady, 57, and Chad English, 42, are charged in U.S. District Court in Kansas City, Kan., with the robbery of the Central Bank of the Midwest at 4801 Town Center Drive in Leawood.

Lovelady allegedly robbed the bank while English is accused of driving the getaway car.

After the robbery, Leawood police spotted and pursued the getaway vehicle. The chase ended outside St. Joseph Medical Center where both men were arrested.
