Police identify victim of fatal shooting in Lee’s Summit
Lee’s Summit police are investigating a fatal shooting early Saturday.
Police were called to the scene of a public disturbance outside a house party in the 1500 block of Southeast Long Place around 2:30 a.m. and found a 20-year-old man with a fatal gunshot wound. Police said Malik Barbour of Kansas City died at the scene.
Police are working on leads to identify who was involved in the shooting. Anyone with information should call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
