Police investigate body found in car at Kansas City residence

Kansas City police are investigating a body found early Thursday near 69th Street and Walrond Avenue.

A male resident called 911 about 6 a.m. after noticing the body of a young man inside a vehicle parked in a driveway.

Investigators at the scene said there were no signs of trauma. The cause of death was unknown.

Crime scene investigators remained at the scene Thursday morning gathering evidence.
