Two charged with murder in KCK shooting

Prosecutors announced murder charges against two people accused in a fatal shooting early Monday in Kansas City, Kan.

Ladarrious R. White and Kimberly C. Winn, both 24 and from Kansas City, Kan., have been arrested and charged with murder in the shooting of Joel T. Solis-Robles, according to prosecutors.

Solis-Robles, 30, of Shawnee, was found mortally wounded near the 1400 block of North 18th Street about 1:30 a.m. Monday. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.

White and Winn are also charged with attempted aggravated robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery. White is also charged with criminal discharge of a firearm.

White and Winn were held in the Wyandotte County jail on Wednesday. Bond was set at $750,000 for each.

Winn is to appear in court Thursday. White is to appear in court Nov. 10.
