Federal authorities looking for man who robbed Kansas City, North, bank
Federal authorities said the Bank of America branch on Vivion Road in Kansas City, North, was robbed Monday by a gunman who fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robbery at the branch located in the 2700 block of Vivion Road was reported about 10:45 a.m.
Authorities said a man entered the bank and demanded money from the teller. The man took the money and sped away in a white Lumina in an unknown direction.
Authorities later found the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
The gunman is described as a heavy set white or possibly Hispanic male. He appeared to be approximately 30 years old and stood about 5-feet, 6-inches tall.
The robber has a gray goatee, wore a gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt, black baggie pants, a red ball cap and spoke with an accent.
