Olathe woman charged after 60-year-old relative is threatened with knife and injured
A 24-year-old Olathe woman has been charged with injuring an older relative after threatening her with a knife.
Shelby Judkins was arrested Saturday and charged in Johnson County District Court with battery and making a criminal threat.
Olathe police said they were called early Saturday on a report of an armed disturbance in the 13800 block of West 138th Street. During an altercation, Judkins allegedly confronted the 60-year-old woman with a knife. The woman suffered minor injuries, police said.
Bond for Judkins was set at $25,000. She had an initial appearance in Johnson County District Court Monday afternoon.
