Police identify man killed in Kansas City, Kan., shooting while 7 others were injured
The man killed in the shooting that injured seven others on Minnesota Avenue in Kansas City, Kan., has been identified as Kevin M. Forman, 27, of Kansas City.
The shooting occurred shortly before midnight Feb. 17 in a building in the 1600 block of Minnesota. Police said they believe the shooting was gang-related
The building was reportedly being used as a venue for a local musician.
Forman died from his injuries at a hospital. The seven other victims had non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
