Woman found dead near Kansas City Community Gardens just west of Swope Park
A woman in her 20s to 30s was found dead early Monday near the Kansas City Community Gardens.
Police responded to an ambulance call about 12:50 a.m. Monday at East 70th Street and Kensington Avenue. Arriving officers found the body of the woman near the road.
The area is just west of Swope Park near the intersection of Kensington and East Gregory Boulevard.
The homicide is Kansas City’s 138th homicide of the year.
