Amber Alert canceled for child taken at gunpoint from mother in KCK

An Amber Alert issued for a 2-year-old boy taken at gunpoint from his mother in Kansas City, Kan. has been canceled.

Jace Brunt was reunited with his mother Friday evening.

According to authorities, Jace was taken from his mother at gunpoint by noncustodial parent Joshua Andrew Brunt about 12:53 p.m. Friday.

A second suspect was identified as Jasmine Brunt.

According to authorities, Jasmine Brunt allegedly used pepper spray during the incident.

Both suspects were in police custody Friday evening.
