Reward is now $4,500 in New Year's Day homicide

A reward for information leading to an arrest in the New Year’s Day shooting death of a Lee’s Summit man has increased to $4,500.

Marc Bivins, 25, was found mortally wounded in the 10100 block of Raytown Road. Bivins was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Relatives and friends increased the reward by an additional $1,000.

Anyone with information about the shooting should call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
