Police recover stolen fire department vehicle in KCK; one in custody
One person is in custody after allegedly stealing a fire investigation vehicle from the scene of a fire in Kansas City, Kan.
The vehicle belongs to the Kansas City, Kan., Fire Department. According to Fire Chief John Paul Jones, it was stolen about 2 p.m. Tuesday from the scene of a fire in the 100 block of South Ferree Street.
The vehicle, Jones said, was recovered shortly thereafter.
KCKFD-Fire Investigation vehicle was stolen from the fire scene on Ferree St. but was recovered shortly thereafter. 1 suspect in custody.

Police later apprehended the suspect, who was taken into custody.
