Woman found dead in Brookside area of Kansas City

Kansas City police are investigating the death of a woman discovered Friday morning in the Brookside area.

Police said the woman was found unconscious inside a vehicle shortly after 5 a.m. Friday outside a residence at 58th Street and Grand Avenue.

Police are looking into a dark colored Fiat where the woman’s body was found. No cause of death has been determined.

Homicide and crime scene investigators are waiting for a search warrant to arrive before they can remove the body from the car.
