Police were investigating the fourth homicide in Kansas City since Wednesday after a man was stabbed to death Saturday.
The stabbing was reported about 2 p.m. in the 3000 block of East 49th Street. Police found the man with a stab wound inside an apartment. He died a short time later, police said.
The suspect surrendered after a hour-long standoff in a neighboring apartment.
Police said the disturbance began over one owing the other money.
The man’s death was the fourth homicide since Wednesday in Kansas City and the 48th homicide of the year.
