Arrests made in Friday morning fatal shooting in Kansas City

Kansas City police say that two people are in custody after a shooting early Friday that left one person dead and another critically injured.

Police were called to the 400 block of Colorado Avenue about 1 a.m. Friday on reports of gunshots heard in the area.

Officers found one person dead, and another person was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.

Police said later Friday morning that two suspects were in custody in connection with the shooting.
