Triple shooting at U.S. 40 bar leaves one dead and two injured

A triple shooting at a bar early Tuesday left one man dead and two injured.

Kansas City police were called to the Tool Shed Lounge at 14940 E. U.S. 40 about 2:30 a.m. on a report of a shooting.

The victim was identified by police as Jarrod M. Blake, 34, of Kansas City.

Police found Blake dead, another critically injured and a third with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say it appears the victims were shot inside the bar after a disturbance involving Blake and another man.

The other man was taken into custody, police said.
