Shooting at Raytown gas station kills one man, injures another
One man was killed and another man was injured after a double shooting Saturday night at a Raytown gas station.
Police were called to the gas station in the 5200 block of Blue Ridge Cutoff about 7:10 p.m. to investigate reports of shots being fired. Officers found two men shot. Both men were taken to a hospital, where one was pronounced dead.
The severity of the second man’s injuries was not known, police said.
Police did not release the name and age of the man who was killed, pending notification of relatives.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation continues, police said.
The killing was the first homicide recorded in Raytown this year.
