Man fatally stabbed during argument in KC

A man was fatally stabbed Friday night near 21st Street and Askew Avenue, Kansas City police said.

Police were called about 8:10 p.m. and found the victim with apparent stab wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he died hours later, police said.

Neighbors told police they had heard two men arguing before the stabbing. The location is just east of Interstate 70 where it runs parallel to Indiana Avenue.
