Man dies after confrontation with security guard in KC

A man was shot and killed early Tuesday after a confrontation with a security guard in the 9300 block of Bales Avenue in Kansas City.

A security guard at an apartment complex told police that he was approached by a man who pointed a gun at him. The guard said he feared for his life so he shot the man, who died from his injuries.
