Kanye West bringing Yeezus tour to the Sprint Center on Dec. 3

Monday night was a big night for Kanye West, who pulled out all the stops in proposing to Kim Kardashian in San Francisco – in a baseball stadium, with an orchestra, fireworks and a 15-carat ring, no less.

But there’s bigger news Tuesday for Kanye fans: The Grammy winner is bringing his new “Yeezus” tour to the Sprint Center on Dec. 3.

Tickets go on sale at noon Friday at

SprintCenter.com

, in person at the Sprint Center box office and by phone, 888-929-7849.

Kanye kicked off his first solo tour in five years on Saturday night in Seattle’s Key Arena, but then ticked off fans when he suddenly postponed Sunday night’s show at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena just hours before the start time. It was rescheduled to Oct. 31.

A reviewer from

Spin.com

saw the show in Seattle and was impressed. Kinda.

Show opener Kendrick Lamar was supposed to start at 8 p.m., but the doors didn’t open until almost 9; Kanye took the stage two-and-a-half hours later to chants of “YEE-ZUS! YEE-ZUS! YEE-ZUS!”

“In the course of a two-hours-plus set, West played all ten of the joyless, abrasive tracks on Yeezus — mostly toward the beginning of the show — and cherrypicked his back catalogue for the songs that match its tone best: ‘Power’ and ‘Can't Tell Me Nothing,’ yes; ‘Gold Digger’ and ‘Good Life,’ no,” the reviewer wrote.

Rolling Stone said the show “was as emotionally unsettling as it was awe-inspiring,” with Kim’s bethrothed displaying an energy level that “was extraordinary from the very beginning.”

Toward the end of the show a figure in a white robe walked up to Kanye on the stage.

Turns out, it was Jesus himself, or a guy dressed like him.

Oh won’t the Westboro Baptist folks have fun with that.
