Car fire shuts down Overland Park highway off-ramp Tuesday afternoon: Police

A stretch of Overland Park highway shut down Tuesday afternoon after a vehicle caught on fire while exiting on an off-ramp.

The flaming car was spotted around 3:20 p.m. on the southbound ramp off of U.S. Highway 69 at 151st Street, the Overland Park Police Department shared Tuesday afternoon.

The off-ramp has been closed until further notice.

No one was injured in the car fire, according to police.
