Teen rushed to hospital after near drowning in hotel swimming pool in the Northland
Emergency crews rushed a teenage boy to a hospital after he nearly drowned Sunday afternoon in a hotel swimming pool in Kansas City's Northland, according to police.
The teen was found about 1:10 p.m. Sunday at the bottom of a swimming pool at the SureStay Plus Hotel at 7333 N.E. Parvin Road.
Emergency crews from the Kansas City Fire Department responded to the hotel near Worlds of Fun. At one point, medical personnel advised that they were performing CPR on the teen.
The teen had a heartbeat when he was taken to a hospital, according to Kansas City police.
