Union Station receives $200,000 from Harry Wilson Loose Trust for expansion project
A $200,000 gift to Union Station Kansas City from the Harry Wilson Loose Trust brings the station close to its fundraising goal to complete an expansion project that has included a new ramp to the parking garage and an outdoor event space.
The station is now about $200,000 away from completing the financing for the $8.4 million project.
The expansion also includes an outdoor Science City exhibit, a conference center and student lunch room and a portal connecting Science City, the Gottlieb Planetarium and the Regnier Extreme Screen Theatre.
