Part of Kansas Avenue in Kansas City, Kan., shut down because of mulch fire

A mulch fire burning in Kansas City, Kan., early Monday has shut down Kansas Avenue from 62nd Street to 65th Street.

Crews were called to C.S. Carey, 6419 Kansas Ave., about 3 a.m. Monday, according to media reports.

It was unclear how long Kansas Avenue was going to be blocked off.
