Coming to the Legends Outlets: Gourmet doughnuts, Thai rolled ice cream and more

Updates for the Legends Outlets Kansas City in Kansas City, Kan.:

▪ The Dapper Doughnut, a gourmet doughnut shop, will enter the market with a 507-square-foot space at 1811 Village West Parkway, Suite O-123. It specializes in cake-style miniature doughnuts made fresh throughout the day in front of the customers. Then the doughnuts are custom designed and decorated with toppings, sugars and sauces.

The menu also includes coffee and doughnut-flavored milkshakes.

A May opening is scheduled.

▪ Journeys is opening a 2,300-square-foot shop at 1843 Village West Parkway, Suite C-121. A summer opening is scheduled. Brands include Vans, Converse, Toms, Sperry, Ugg, Adidas, Fila, New Balance and Timberland. It also will sell novelty T-shirts, backpacks, hats, socks and shoelaces.

▪ A previously announced tenant, HomeGoods, plans to open in May at 1817 Village West Parkway, Suite 102.

▪ Another previously announced tenant, Freezing Rolls, has changed its name to Sweet Charlie's. It is taking a 2,995-square-foot location at 1843 Village West Parkway, Suite M-107. It is planning to open in early May.
