Two KC law firms among nation’s largest in healthcare practice

Kansas City has outsized representation nationally in the field of healthcare law. According to the Modern Healthcare 2014 Healthcare Law Firms Survey, two local law firms rank among the nation’s 25 largest in number of attorneys who practice healthcare law and/or number of employees who hold membership in the American Health Lawyers Association.

Polsinelli, with 151 healthcare lawyers and 189 AHLA members, ranked third nationally, according to the survey’s metrics. Husch Blackwell, with 90 healthcare lawyers and 141 AHLA members, ranked 12th.
