Google leases office space downtown

Google Fiber has leased office space in downtown Kansas City at 908 Broadway, a spokeswoman confirmed Friday. The offices house employees handling operations, engineering and sales.

Google Fiber, which is expanding its high-speed Internet access service in the metro area, also has kept its office space at Westport Road and State Line. The number of employees now working downtown and at the original office space was not disclosed.
