“Alex From Target” got so much attention on Twitter he got to go on Ellen DeGeneres’ show. Do you have a favorite store employee who just makes your day?

As far as we can tell, “Alex From Target” rose to Internet fame this week because he’s a cute guy who could pass for Justin Bieber’s younger brother.

Asked by talk show host Ellen DeGeneres if he has any special skills, the 16-year-old Texan (full name: Alex LaBeouf) replied: “I can apparently bag groceries pretty well.”

Which leads us to this question: Is there a store employee around Kansas City you think deserves a moment in the spotlight?

Maybe he or she delivers great customer service. Makes a point to get to know customers. Or for some other reason just makes shopping a pleasant experience.

Nominate your favorite in an email to starfyi@gmail.com. Put “Good help” in the subject line. Then, in 150 words or less, tell us why that person makes your day, where he or she works, etc. Include your name, city and phone number, please.

We’ll write stories about the best of the bunch just as the busy holiday shopping season gets underway. We’ll also run snippets from the reader nominations. Or you can tweet about it, along with a photo if you’d like, at #GoodHelpKC. (You also can follow us @kcstarfyi.)

Deadline for nominations: Noon Nov. 17.
