The Meadows of Searcy Creek, located at the intersection of Interstate 435 and Shoal Creek Parkway, offers a perfect location for residents who value convenience to all that the Northland has to offer. The community is less than 15 minutes to the airport, 10 minutes to major hospitals and numerous healthcare facilities, and just a few minutes to a variety of shopping and dining establishments.

Local developers, Paul McElwee and Mike Yeates, selected this area specifically for an exclusive villa community.

“After walking the ground and admiring the beautiful, landscaped parkway and common areas that overlook the ponds, it became apparent to us that this was the perfect spot for our product,” said Yeates. “To be able to offer a semi-maintenance provided community with these surroundings is something no other community has. We know we’ve found something special when we envision ourselves living in the community.”

The Meadows of Searcy Creek is comprised of two different phases. The first phase offers just 12 remaining lots, and prospective homeowners are invited to bring their own builder and plan or work directly with the marketing team to design a home that fits their needs. This first phase will have no annual HOA dues, but will be monitored by the developer to ensure residents maintain their homes according to the community’s established design guidelines.

The second phase is a semi-maintenance provided community comprised of 49 lots designed specifically for single-level living. In this phase, homebuyers can choose from several floor plans and elevations. Minor modifications to the plans will be allowed to give homebuyers options to personalize their home. The homeowners’ association will remove snow and provide lawn care, including mowing and chemical treatments. Residents will be responsible for watering, exterior maintenance and landscaping.

Two model homes are now open for viewing and boast four-sided architecture, an open floor plan concept, upgraded trim packages, beautiful tile and hardwood floors, granite countertops, large kitchens, a covered deck with composite decking and maintenance-free railing, and a generous landscaping package.

With prices starting in the low $300,000s, homeowners are urged to come in early to select a lot and begin the build process as this neighborhood is just in its infancy.

“The second phase will begin road construction this fall, with new lots becoming available in the spring of 2018,” McElwee said. “The majority of the lots will walk out to green space and have views not available in any other community in this price point.”

The community will also feature garden-style lots where residents can walk directly into their backyard without navigating stairs. These types of lots are growing in popularity because accessibility is key to enjoying the full benefit of outdoor spaces.

There are currently eight lots available to build on in the semi-maintenance provided phase. The developer is starting two speculative homes that will be move-in ready in the next six months. Interested buyers on a shorter timeframe are encouraged to contact the marketing team immediately to pick out finishes and personalize their future home.

The Meadows of Searcy Creek is exclusively marketed by The Real Estate Store, a growing local brokerage that’s focused on giving clients industry-leading service and knowledge. Mike Yeates and business partner Andy Mackey started the brokerage in 2014 as they began to buy real estate intended for development.

“Our goal has always been to provide a perspective to our clients that very few other real estate professionals can offer,” said Mackey. This insight is derived from years of successful experience in development, building, real estate and business ventures.

“Buyers should feel confident that they are in good hands when dealing with our team,” Yeates said. “Being involved in all facets of the process, from development and building to marketing our own product, streamlines the buying experience.”
