“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”

Ang Lee directs this adaptation of Ben Fountain’s novel about a 19-year-old Iraq War soldier (newcomer Joe Alwyn) who recalls his battlefield experiences while being honored during the halftime show at a Thanksgiving football game in Dallas. Kristen Stewart, Vin Diesel, Garrett Hedlund, Chris Tucker and Steve Martin co-star. Rated R. Time: 1:50.
