That Alex Gordon throw was measured at 92.7 mph and impressed everyone
The Royals were trailing 1-0 in the fourth inning of Monday’s game in Toronto when Kevin Pillar singled to left field with two outs.
The Blue Jays’ Edwin Encarnacion was running on the play from second base and there was no reason to think that Toronto wasn’t going to double its lead. Well, except Alex Gordon.
Gordon made one of the best throws you’ll see and got Encarnacion at the plate.
