Bubba Starling crushed a home run in his first game at Class AAA Omaha
As noted by Rustin Dodd, The Star’s Royals beat writer, the team promoted former first-round pick Bubba Starling to Class AAA to provide him a clean slate.
Starling, the former Gardner Edgerton star, was hitting .185 at Class AA Northwest Arkansas when he got the bump up Saturday to the Storm Chasers.
So far, so good for Starling.
During his first game on Sunday, Starling hit a booming home run.
“I feel like I’m back at home,” Starling told the Omaha World Herald. “It’s nice — back in Huskerland.”
People were certainly impressed.
