Royals catcher Drew Butera pulled a fast one on Salvador Perez after the Royals’ 4-0 win over the Tigers on Thursday night.

Perez did his usual Salvy Splash, soaking left fielder Alex Gordon. Then Butera sneaked up from behind and delivered a splash of his own:

Perez seemed genuinely shocked that Butera doused him.
