Wife of Chiefs player won pricey Chanel bag at Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift wedding
There was much more than just than “I dos” shared Friday at the wedding of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and international singing sensation Taylor Swift.
There apparently was music, of course. But social-media posts showed video games being wheeled out of Madison Square Garden a day after the ceremony. Guests also talked about a raffle being held, and someone might have won a Chevy Chevelle, like the “getaway car” Kelce and Swift drove off in from Arrowhead Stadium after making their relationship public in 2023.
We learned over the weekend that Ashley Smith, whose brother, Trey, plays for the Chiefs, had caught the bouquet thrown by Swift.
And it seems that another Chiefs family member came away with a sweet gift, as part of the aforementioned raffle. Jackie Tranquill shared an Instagram post with her husband, Chiefs linebacker Drue Tranquill. It included a photo of a Chanel 25 Small Handbag and a prize ticket.
The Chanel website says it sells for $6,700 and is made of grained calfskin and gold-tone metal black.
The Instagram post includes photos with Chiefs long-snapper James Winchester and his wife, Emily, along with photos of the Tranquill’s son, who was born in the spring.
The post included this message: “(Shep) Freedom, Friends & fútbol ⚽️ Congrats to the newly weds 💍 Happy 250th America 🎇 & of course, let’s go USA! 🇺🇸 WHAT A WEEKEND, WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE🙏🏽”
