It’s been a big week for superstar singer Taylor Swift, who attended the premiere of “Toy Story 5” (which featured her song), witnessed the biggest comeback in NBA Finals history (Tayvoodoo?) and then made history Thursday.

Swift was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and, at age 36, is the youngest woman to get that honor, according to the Associated Press.

In her acceptance speech, Swift said choosing to be a songwriter was easy, then fought back tears while thanking her family.

“But it couldn’t have been easy for my parents and my brother to just pick up and move our entire family from Pennsylvania to relocate to Nashville, so that I could hone my craft in the songwriting capital of the world,” Swift said. "But after it became obvious that this was not even remotely a temporary phase their tween daughter was going through, they uprooted their entire lives to move me to Music City.

“And even though words are supposed to kind of be my thing, I will never be able to express my gratitude to you guys for doing that for me. You’re the reason I’m here tonight.”

Swift’s parents, Andrea and Scott, were in the crowd at the ceremony in New York City. And so was Travis Kelce, who wrapped up work at Chiefs’ minicamp in Kansas City and flew to see his bride-to-be. Kelce’s parents, Ed and Donna, also were at the ceremony.

Here are photos and videos of the Swift-Kelce family affair at the Hall of Fame ceremony.
