For Pete's Sake

Travis Kelce’s video of return to Chiefs shows how much he loves his teammates

When the Chiefs finished the 2025 season with that dreadful 14-12 loss to the Raiders, many fans worried Travis Kelce would be retiring from football.

Social media was full of cool tribute videos not only to Kelce, but also to his bond with quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

The good news for Chiefs fans is Kelce is returning for a 14th season as we learned this week. And Kelce said Mahomes is working hard to get ready for the start of the season.

Kelce on Thursday provided a bit of motivation for his teammate and friend with a video shared on Instagram.

The purpose of the video might have been to acknowledge Kelce is coming back to the Chiefs, but it also served as a reminder of the friendships he has with Mahomes, along with defensive lineman Chris Jones, coach Andy Reid, center Creed Humprhey and others.

In sharing the video, Kelce wrote: “Let’s get this thing rockin!! 🏹🏟️.” And one of the first people to respond was Mahomes, who wrote: “LFGGGGGGG!!!!!” Center Creed Humphrey wrote: “Run it back LFG!!!!!”

It’s easy to see how much Kelce loves his teammates when watching this video.
