Commanders fans were stunned after finding that viral video of Leo Chenal
The Washington Commanders broke the hearts of many Chiefs fans by signing linebacker Leo Chenal to a three-year, $24.75 million deal, per the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Of course, Chenal was only available to sign with the Commanders, because the Chiefs didn’t bring him back.
Chenal is probably best known for the blocked field goal that beat the Broncos during the 2024 season.
But without Chenal, there’s a good chance the Chiefs don’t win Super Bowl LVIII and lock in their dynasty by winning a second straight title. Chenal forced 49ers star Christian McCaffrey to fumble and later blocked an extra-point attempt that proved to be huge when the game went into overtime.
However, the most impressive play of Chenal’s time in Kansas City may have come during the Super Bowl LVII parade.
At one point, Chenal was on the street celebrating with fans. Like his teammates, Chenal hopped back on the bus, but he did so in an unorthodox and, frankly, incredible manner. This video went viral.
Commanders fans found that video after Chenal signed with Washington, and, suffice to say, they were blown away by the athleticism.
”brah wtf…did I just see this (guy) scale a bus?” one wrote on X.
Another observed: “yeah this the type of lunatic i need in the middle of the defense”
“…..none of our LBs have that kinda athleticism….at ALL that’s crazy,“ wrote a third.
Here are a few more reactions from impressed Commanders fans.
