One of Cowboys’ celebrity fans likely will play at halftime of game vs. Chiefs
When Chiefs players and their significant others were out celebrating the Super Bowl LVIII victory in Las Vegas, a Cowboys fan joined the party.
It was singer Post Malone, who was wearing a Dallas jacket. But Brittany Mahomes, the Current co-owner and wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, got Malone to make a wardrobe change.
Malone donned a Chiefs jacket and video of the moment went viral.
While that was fun, don’t expect to see Malone in any Chiefs gear on Thanksgiving Day. The Chiefs play the Cowboys on Turkey Day at AT&T Stadium, and Dallas on Sunday teased who would be performing at halftime.
The Cowboys released this video that many believe is about Malone.
“The country imagery with a large truck barreling down the highway and the cowboy boots stepping out of it can also be interpreted as a nod to Malone’s recent venture into country music with his 2024 studio album F-1 Trillion,” wrote the Dallas Morning News.
Another hint was kicker Brandon Aubrey’s appearance in the video. Malone owns an Aubrey jersey and got the kicker to autograph it last year. The Morning News noted the connection as did this fan.
