Chiefs and KU branded cans of alcoholic beverages will be sold in the KC area
While watching their favorite team play this fall, sports fans who are 21 and older will be able pop a cold one in cans adorned with the logo of two KC-area squads.
Logos of the Chiefs and Kansas Jayhawks will be on alcoholic beverages sold in Kansas City. Here’s a quick look.
Chiefs
There are newly designed Chiefs Bud Light cans, which the company described as having “full-bleed official team colors, retro jersey-inspired stripes.”
KU Jayhawks
The Boulevard Brewing Company and Quirk Hard Seltzer announced a partnership with Kansas Athletics ahead of the 2025-26 school year.
Boulevard will release special branded 19.2-ounce cans of Unfiltered Wheat with the 1946 Jayhawk logo, and Quirk Strawberry Lemon & Basil with the 1912 Jayhawk.
“Some of the best times of my life were spent in Lawrence, Kansas,” Boulevard founder/KU grad John McDonald said in a news release. “The University of Kansas is one of the greatest brands ever. To be associated with a regional brewery like Boulevard is a win-win.”
Those products will be sold in Kansas stores, and Boulevard beverages will be available for KU home games at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium.
Boulevard also said in the fall there will be limited-release products for the basketball season.
