Prince Charming has been cut down.
After the Chiefs opened camp last week, People magazine fawned over tight end Travis Kelce, saying he was back and so was his “Luscious Prince Charming Hair.”
But days later, Kelce cut his locks and People noted he had returned to his usual buzz cut. One can’t blame Kelce for the new hairstyle given there has been roughly 318% humidity at Missouri Western in St. Joseph. You’d cut your hair too, if you were wearing a helmet in this heat.
Kelce, who is dating superstar singer Taylor Swift, is often a subject of multiple celebrity sites, and they wrote about his new look. InStyle said it was a “surprising hair transformation.” The New York Post also called it a “hair transformation,” while Cosmopolitan said he “traded his luscious ’90s-era Leonardo DiCaprio ’do for a buzzcut.”
It may seem surprising to hear of so much attention being paid to one man’s head, but Kelce has often been the focus of such talk at training camp. Heck, his “El Travador” look made fans swoon in years past.
