Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes stars in new ‘You Got This’ commercial with Lionel Messi

The biggest football and fútbol stars in the the world both have Adidas endorsement deals, and they got together for a new commercial called “You Got This.”
It begins with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes on a treadmill when someone increases the speed on his machine. Mahomes, the three-time Super Bowl champion, gives an annoyed look at the person, but we don’t know who it is at first.
Mahomes then increases the speed on the other person’s machine. And the two keep messing with each other until we realize it’s World Cup champion Lionel Messi.
The two sports stars smile as they increase the pace of their runs, and Mahomes says, “Let’s go.”
“We all need someone to make us believe” is shown on the screen, and later Messi and Mahomes shake hands.
This is a fun spot and you might notice Brittany Mahomes, the Kansas City Current co-owner, makes a cameo at the start of the commercial. She’s seen working out with Lionel Messi’s wife, Antonela Roccuzzo.
“In sports, as in anything that you are passionate about, the work never stops,” Mahomes said in a news release. “But nobody succeeds alone. You need people who believe in you and who challenge you to be better. It was an honor to team up with Leo for this campaign. It’s a reminder that we achieve more together than we ever could alone.”
