Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce’s 1587 Prime steakhouse plans two hiring events
The 1587 Prime steakhouse from Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and teammate Travis Kelce is looking to fill a number of positions ahead of the restaurant’s opening later this summer.
The Kansas City steakhouse is planning two four-day hiring events as they seek people to work in the following positions:
- Host
- Bar prep
- Barback
- Cocktail server
- Bathroom attendant
- Servers
- Food runners
- Bartenders
- Backservers
The 1587 Prime steakhouse, which will be at the Loews Kansas City Hotel at 1500 Baltimore Ave., will have an understated football theme in the nearly 10,000 square feet space that will be on two floors.
The hiring events will take place June 10-13 and June 17-20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., but an appointment time will be required. No one should show up and expect to apply for a job.
The hiring website has this note: “To be considered for an interview, please submit your application through the link provided. Once received, a member of our team will reach out to schedule your interview.”
That link can be found here.
Those jobs are all part-time. One full-time opening is still available. The general manager position has yet to be filled and it pays up to $120,000 a year.
A look inside the establishment was released last week as work is being done to the restaurant.
