Two more job openings posted for Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes’ steakhouse
More details about the 1587 Prime steakhouse from Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce continue to be revealed.
We learned last week that the interior of the two-story steakhouse, at the Loews Kansas City Hotel at 1515 Wyandotte, will have some cool football touches and will open this summer.
Earlier this month, the Las Vegas-based hospitality group Noble 33 announced it is looking to hire an executive chef for 1587 Prime.
Now, there are two other job openings for the restaurant. 1587 Prime is also looking for an operation manager and a bar manager.
The operations manager salary is $55,000 to $90,000 a year. This is from the job description: “The Operations Manager reports to the General Manager and is responsible for driving the company’s vision during the daily operations of the restaurant. The Operations Manager will ensure that employees are equipped to execute to our brand standards so that all guests have an engaging and dynamic experience. The Operations Manager will work with the General Manager and Executive Chef in setting the direction of the business in day-to-day operations as well as a plan to grow the business, drive sales and manage costs. In addition to supporting the team as a whole, the Operations Manager will have direct oversight for a designated group of employees and will be responsible for all hiring, training, scheduling, and performance.”
You can apply here for that position, which includes knowing about city, state and federal health codes.
The salary for the bar manager is $70,000 to $80,000 a year.
Here is a description of that job: “The Bar Manager reports to the General Manager and is responsible for managing bar inventory, supply & standards as well as the bar team. With oversight from the General Manager and Beverage Director, the Bar Manager oversees all day-to-day beverage functions & operations including marketing initiatives, staff scheduling, training and execution, cost control and driving top line revenue as continual focus. Additionally, the Bar Manager actively participates in managing the daily operations of the venue as a whole.”
One of the qualifications for that job is “Strong knowledge in cocktails, spirits and wine.”
No surprise about that, right?
